I want therapy to be a space where my clients feel like they can drop their mask and exhale. A space where you do not need to do or say things “right” or have it all figured out whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-harm, or suicidal ideation. My goal is to create an environment that is warm, supportive and where you can show up fully, feel affirmed and like I’m on your side (because I am!)
As a therapist, I bring my professional training into the space while also making room for all my human parts. Theory matters but so does connection - I show up with warmth, clinical insight, and a good dose of humor.
I believe everyone has the capacity for change, growth, and reconnection. Whatever brings you to therapy I would be honored to be a part of the process.

I work with children (7+), adolescents, adults and families who are navigating different challenges emotionally, feeling overwhelmed and are ready for a change.
While I work with many different clients - I frequently work with:
Children struggling with emotional regulation, anxiety, or overwhelm
Adolescents, teens and adults who are struggling with self-harm and/or suicidal ideation.
Children and adolescents who are in transition periods (i.e.; changing schools, grades, divorce, etc)
Children, teens and adults who are experiencing anxiety, relationship struggles, depression and/or ADHD
Teens and adults who are exploring and/or reconnecting to their identity and values
Often we know what we are feeling and can name it, but it is okay if you are not sure where you are at. I am on your side to help navigate what you or your child are experiencing to make meaningful change.

While my work supports many different concerns, my clinical focus often includes:
Self-Harm and Suicidal Ideation: Helping clients navigating self-harm and suicidal ideation. I work from a harm-reduction viewpoint, which means I bring a compassionate, non-judgemental, and curious approach to self-harm and suicidal ideation. My goal is to help understand the underlying distress and help make meaningful change.
Identity Concerns and Self-Esteem: Helping clients who feel disconnected from who they are and are working to understand their values and how different aspects of life intersect.
Depression: Helping clients who are feeling numb, struggling to engage in daily tasks, or loss of motivation. Depression can feel heavy and isolating but you do not have to do it alone.
Anxiety: Helping clients who are experiencing racing thoughts, overthinking, or negative self talk.
Blended Families and Divorce: Helping clients who are navigating divorce or recent changes to their family dynamics.

I operate from the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. I deeply value you as a whole person with lived experiences that informs who you are and how you navigate the world. I enjoy utilizing a collaborative approach to therapy to best suit each person’s needs.
Most of my work pulls from client centered approaches because I believe change happens when you feel heard, understood and are able to be your full authentic self. This allows me to tailor therapy to each client’s needs and goals.
I often pull from approaches such as:
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Emotion- Focused Approaches
Strength-Based Approaches
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Existentialism

We might work well together if you are looking for a space where you can show up as your authentic self and are looking for a direct but laidback therapist. In sessions, I show up as my full self, because healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported to be our full selves.
Therapy is meant to move at a pace that feels good for you and my goal is to help you move through what feels most important for you and if you are not sure to work together to identify what that might be.

As a human, I have experienced my own struggles with mental health. While we may not be experiencing things the same, I can understand deeply what it means to be seen and heard and how meaningful this can be. I strive to create a space where you can explore anything you want and be met with compassion and care.

My clinical experience includes supporting children, adolescents, and adults across a range of presenting concerns. My clinical experience comes from working in inpatient mental health, non-profit mental health, and public and private schools. My experience in these settings allows me to be well-versed in resources that may be needed in addition to therapy such as but not limited to, 504s, IEPS, and/or medication management.
I believe my learning is never done and strive to stay up to date on relevant information. Additionally, I continue to pursue ongoing training and professional development to ensure I am supporting my clients with evidence based care.
