I believe therapy works best when you feel truly understood. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are — whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, family expectations, or simply feeling stuck.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who may look like they are holding it all together on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted. Therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and begin making meaningful changes that feel aligned with who you are and how you want to live.
As a therapist, I bring both professional training and personal perspective into the room. As a first-generation American, I understand how culture, family dynamics, and identity can shape the way we experience ourselves and our relationships. These experiences deeply inform the compassion and curiosity I bring to my work with clients.
Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to your unique experiences.
-
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are navigating a wide range of emotional and relational challenges.
I frequently work with:
Adolescents and teens navigating identity, stress, and family dynamics
Adults experiencing anxiety, depression, or life transitions
Couples working through communication challenges or relationship conflict
Families seeking healthier ways to understand and support one another
Some clients come to therapy with a clear goal in mind, while others simply know something in their life no longer feels sustainable. Both are completely valid starting points.

While therapy can support many different concerns, my clinical focus includes:
Eating Disorders & Body Image
I support individuals navigating disordered eating patterns, body image concerns, and complex relationships with food and their bodies. My work is aligned with a Health at Every Size® (HAES®) approach, which emphasizes body respect, compassionate self-care, and moving away from weight-centered models of health.Anxiety & Perfectionism
Helping clients who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, pressure, or constant self-criticism.Depression & Emotional Overwhelm
Working with individuals experiencing feelings of heaviness, disconnection, or loss of motivation.Relationship & Family Conflict
Helping couples and families improve communication, rebuild understanding, and navigate difficult dynamics.Identity & Cultural Expectations
Exploring how culture, family expectations, and personal identity intersect and influence mental health. -
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe meaningful change happens when insight, emotional understanding, and practical tools come together.
Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Depending on what may be most helpful, I may draw from approaches such as:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Emotion-focused approaches
Family systems work
Mindfulness-based strategies
Above all, I aim to create a space where you feel supported, respected, and safe to explore the parts of your life that feel difficult or uncertain.
-
Therapy is not about “fixing” you. It’s about creating space to understand yourself more deeply and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
For some people, therapy is about learning new ways to manage anxiety or stress. For others, it is about understanding long-standing patterns in relationships or reconnecting with a sense of direction and purpose.
Whatever brings you to therapy, we will work together at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.

As a South Asian and first-generation American, I have a deep appreciation for the ways culture, family expectations, and identity can shape our experiences.
Many of the clients I work with are navigating similar questions around belonging, boundaries, and balancing multiple cultural worlds. These experiences can be deeply meaningful, but they can also create internal tension and pressure.
I strive to create a space where these experiences can be explored openly and without judgment.

I provide counseling services in English, Telugu, and Kannada.
For clients who feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their native language, therapy can be conducted in Telugu or Kannada. Being able to speak in the language that feels most natural to you can make it easier to explore personal experiences, cultural dynamics, and family relationships with greater clarity and comfort.
